Shahid Rajaei Port Special Economic Zone is located 15 km west of Bandar Abbas, which supports more than a third of Iran's maritime

trade by having maritime relations and trade with 80 internationally famous ports and 21 liner shipping lines.
This port with an area of ​​4800 hectares is located in the center of the north-south transit corridor. This corridor connects the Indian Ocean

and the Persian Gulf via Iran to the Caspian Sea and then through Russia to St. Petersburg and northern Europe.
Shahid Rajaei Port Special Economic Zone has the largest and most advanced container terminals in the country and 90% of the country's container

goods, 70% of transit and 55% of exports and imports of the country's ports are moved through this port.

The development plan for container terminals of Shahid Rajaei port includes three executive phases and two study phases, the second phase of which

was put into operation in 2010. This port is capable of mooring the largest seventh generation container ships in the world with a water intake of
17 meters and a capacity of more than 140,000 tons of DWT, and with 40 berths and 30 gantry cranes, it is providing services.

With the operation of Phase 3, which is currently under construction, the loading and unloading capacity of this port is to be increased from 6 to 8

million TEU containers per year.
