According to the public relations unit, the technical and engineering deputy of the Beta Marine and Port Services Development Company of Hormozgan region, pointing out that these winches are an auxiliary device for easier replacement of gantry host cranes, added: by making these winches, the speed of assembling wires Old or damaged and the lifting and transfer of new gantry crane wires is reduced from 72 hours to 12 hours and the number of people involved is reduced from 7 to 3.

Mohsen Salmanpour stated that the construction and assembly time of this winch is 100 man-hours and said: "With this measure, the time outside the service of gantry cranes to replace the wire will be greatly reduced and the port unloading and loading operation capacity will be opened quickly to the desired capacity." And while speeding up the repair process, it provides more safety for technical personnel during wire replacement.

The official noted: The construction plan of the winch was proposed to the General Directorate of Ports and Maritime Affairs and the technical deputy of the General Directorate after the beta replacement problems were identified, and this action was implemented after obtaining the necessary permits.

It should be noted that this winch included the structure and table of the winch, which after cutting, welding and painting, the gearbox and the electric motor were installed on it and ready for operation.
